A team of researchers with the University of Edinburgh has found what they describe as evidence of a comet striking the Earth at approximately the same time as the onset of the Younger Dryas in carvings on an ancient stone pillar in southern Turkey.


The group has published their findings in the journal Mediterranean Archaeology and Archaeometry.

Prior evidence based on ice cores taken from Greenland has suggested that a strike by a comet may have led to the onset of the Younger Dryas—a period of Earth cooling that lasted for approximately 1000 years.

Other evidence also suggests that the cooling period caused groups of people to band together to cultivate crops, leading to the development of agriculture, which in turn led to huge leaps in technological innovations and societal developments, i.e. Neolithic civilization. A strange asteroid 1.3 kilometers (3,280 feet) across streaked past Earth on Wednesday, giving astronomers a rare chance to check out a big space rock up close. XX

Dubbed 2014-JO25, the asteroid came nearest at 12.20 GMT and is now hurtling away from the centre of our solar system, said Ian Carnelli, an astronomer from the European Space Agency (ESA).


The Arecibo observatory in Puerto Rico—which has one of the world's biggest radio telescopes—captured the 2014 JO25's first images, showing a “dragon-shaped” object that is likely "two large asteroids that fused together".

You may not see them, but space rocks whizz above our heads all the time. But large asteroids passing this close to Earth remain a rarity.

The next one will pass by in 2027, a 800-metre long object that will come within one Earth-to-the-Moon distance.

The last time 2014-JO25 was in our vicinity was 400 years ago, and its next close encounter with Earth won't happen until sometime after 2600.

A bright object was observed streaking across the sunset sky over Queensland, Australia on April 16, 2017.


The fireball was seen from southern Queensland and northeastern New South Wales. House-shaking sound was reported in Killarney on the Southern Downs.

A bright meteor lit up the skies over the Midwest early Monday, a huge ball of flame visible from at least four states including Illinois, meteorologists said.


“It was basically visible for a long distance,” said Ricky Castro, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Chicago office. “It was certainly an interesting event, uncommon for the area.” The weather service’s Milwaukee office got reports of sonic booms.

I went to the countryside at night to film a beautiful moon set over the fields and test a new lens I bought for my Sony a7s camera. After a few videos and photos, I started recording the moonset, when an amazing glowing light fell to the ground.


It looked really big but not that far from my location. The object was glowing like a meteor, or a burning object. It probably crashed in the huge lands in front of me. The object literally came out of nowhere, just like a meteor / meteorite would do. It was also totally silent.

One thing about this object is really intriguing: it actually reached the ground (at least, the horizon). This one looked really close to me.

As the object probably crashed in a field I spent more than 30 minutes searching the object in the huge lands around me, exploring the area with my car but I didn't see anything.

Here is another newly found asteroid set to pass very close to our planet.

Asteroid 2017 BS32 set to pass between Earth and the Moon Feb. 02. The space rock was first observed by Catalina Sky Survey on 2017-01-30.


It will fly by Earth at a distance of 161 280 km which is about 0.4 times the distance to the Moon at a speed (relative to the Earth) of 11.57 km/s. It is estimated to be 11 m - 26 meters in size.

The asteroid which has a condition code of 7 belongs to a group of asteroids, named Aten.

More disturbing is the fact that the last days an increasing number of newly discovered asteroids passed the Earth less than 5 LD , while 2017 BS32 is the fourth asteroid to pass Earth, below 1 LD – Lunar Distance, since January 8, 2017!

A decade ago, a research team from Italy's University of Bologna led by Luca Gasperini pointed to a small bowl-shaped 500-metre diameter Lake Cheko as the impact crater of the Tunguska meteorite.

They have also argued that flattened trees show that 'two bodies entered the atmosphere. One exploded about five miles (8km) above ground, while the other hit the Earth where Lake Cheko is now.


The Tunguska event was a mega explosion, caused by an asteroid or comet, which occurred near the Podkamennaya Tunguska River in what is now Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, on June 20, 1908.

It is classified as an impact event even though it exploded in the sky rather than hit the surface with as a result that about 2,000 square km of forest was flattened. The explosion could be heard 1,200 kilometers away even atmospheric pressure was detected in Britain.

There recently seems to have been a very active night of unknown objects that descended upon the great state of Florida during peak hours and no one noticed?


These objects might have been meteors or space debris but there is something strange going on with these objects.

At first, look at the sharp ends of the objects in the still images. That is not natural.

Then, especially the first object is following an obvious path, you can plainly see it in the video at 1.42 and in all the replays. The Unidentified Flying Object is either guided by that path, or fueled by it or something, but the object definitely is on a predetermined path.

3 different events just hours apart from each other and not one single report of any of these events were found, even NASA keeping very quiet!

Three space objects are heading towards Earth and NASA has identified only one of the objects as comet C/2016 discovered by the Space Agency on October 2016. According to NASA this celestial body which is visiting the inner solar system for the first time and releases clouds of gas and dust as it gets closer to the sun, is expected to make a close pass to Earth this January (2017).


But there are two more space objects and NASA’s scientists have no idea what these objects (object 1991 VG and object 2016 WF9) are. What they know, both objects are hurtling towards Earth and it is expected that especially object 991 VG will sweep past Earth this summer (2017).

While they suggest that object 2016 WF9, discovered on November 27, 2016, could be a comet, which is not considered to be a threat to the planet, the origin of object 1991 VG which was spotted for the first in 1991 by Astronomer James Scotti from the University of Arizona, is a real mystery.

Our Earth is constantly bombarded by small asteroids that try to penetrate its protective atmosphere. The vast majority don't get through, but larger asteroids could pose a threat.

Understanding better what asteroids are made of is crucial in improving deflection technologies to set them off a collision course. This is one of the main objectives of AIM, ESA's preliminary Asteroid Impact Mission.


Launched in October 2020, AIM would travel to a binary asteroid system – the paired Didymos asteroids, which will come a comparatively close 11 million km to Earth in 2022. The 800 m-diameter main body is orbited by a 150 m moon, informally called ‘Didymoon’.

A large meteorite exploded in the sky over the region of Khakassia in Southwest Siberia on Tuesday, November 6, 2016.

Many people witnessed the moment the fireball turned the evening sky into day.


The fireball did not reach the earth and burned up in the dense layers of the atmosphere above Sayanogorsk.

The bright flash of light was seen for three or four seconds in different regions of the country, however the sound of the explosion was about 30 seconds later.

It seems another large meteorite exploded at about the same time over Norway, according to BPEarthwatch who explained that these meteorites are possible debris from the asteroid 3200 Phaethon, which is an Apollo asteroid with an unusual orbit.

Many people speculated the green light emitting body might have been a UFO while others said the object was a bright meteor or space debris burning up in the atmosphere.

The event lasted for about 15 seconds and was captured by several cameras.

On Tuesday evening of October 25, 2016 residents of the Buryatia Republic (Siberia) could see a meteorite falling on Earth in the area of Lake Baikal.


According to eyewitnesses, the meteorite fell on the ground in the area of Lake Baikal. First reports about the incident were made at about 19:00 local time (14:00 MSK).

"It was as bright as daylight for five or six seconds," eyewitnesses wrote adding that the meteorite fell behind the Barguzin ridge.


The incident could be observed from the city of Ulan-Ude and its suburbs, report Baikal-Daily and Pravdareport.

On Monday night people reported seeing mysterious lights over San Diego, California.

A witness could see the lights from Eastlake and someone else saw the lights above the City Heights area while another person noticed them above the San Diego International Airport, according to NBC San Diego.


A US Navy spokesperson told Fox 5 San Diego that the USS Makin Island group is training, but there weren't 'live fire' exercises that happened when the lights were reported.

Reuben H. Young Space Center's John Young says that space debris was probably behind the lights.

Palomar Observatory spokesman Steve Flanders says: The tail looks like the flames that escape from a rocket engine during ascent.

During a series of solar flares which took place on July 26, 2016 the Helioviewer did not only captured the solar event but also a streak of light what appears to be a UFO which is visible for a split second.

On July 31, 2016 NASA's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) satellite captured a comet as it approached the sun. It’s unknown if the comet hit the sun or not because there was an unexpected 4 hour skip in the SOHO frames.

And on August 2, 2016 SDO NASA reported a lunar transit, but during the transit the camera did not go into science mode as the satellite got stuck in position, according to NASA.


Nevertheless the camera managed to take some images of the lunar transit. One SDO image shows the lunar transit and something what looks like a UFO harvesting energy from the sun.

A mysterious rock crashed through the roof of a house in Phitsanulok's Muang district on Tuesday. The suspected meteorite fell through the roof of a home in Phitsanulok's Muang district on June 28, 2016.

The family was left in shock after the meteorite started crashing through the roof of their home as they were eating breakfast.


The largest rock, the size of a chicken egg, smashed a hole in their corrugated iron roof, while smaller ones smashed through the walls.

As the footage shows the family were left with damage throughout the house and showed reporters around their property in Phitsanulok in Thailand.

The said it sounded like gunfire as the stones started to hit, but once the noise had died down they were surprised to see the stones, which were hot to touch lying scattered on the ground.

According to bangkokpost, Department head Sarawut Tuantam said the rock’s crust was charcoal black, indicating it had been burned entering Earth's atmosphere at very high speeds.

For a few seconds early Thursday, night turned into day as an extremely bright fireball lit the pre-dawn sky over much of Arizona, blinding all-sky meteor cameras as far away as western New Mexico.

Based on the latest data, the asteroid was 10 feet (3 meters) in diameter with a mass of a few tons and a kinetic energy of approximately half a kiloton - entered Earth's atmosphere above Arizona just before 4 a.m. local (MST) time. NASA estimates that the asteroid was moving at about 40,200 miles per hour (64,700 kilometers per hour).


Bill Cooke in NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office notes that this is the brightest fireball detected in the 8-year history of the NASA's All Sky Fireball Network and that he and other meteor experts are having difficulty obtaining data on the June 2, 2016 fireball from meteor camera videos, since many of the cameras were almost completely saturated by the bright event.

Some witnesses of the fireball that exploded over Northeastern US on May 17, 2016 believe that alien ‘guardian angels’ blasted the rock to minimize the threat.


According to the American Meteor Society there were two objects entered the Earth’s atmosphere. As it appears now, a small unknown object followed the fireball on its trajectory through the atmosphere.

Once the fireball gets very close to Earth, the unknown object can be seen colliding with the meteorite causing it to explode before it crashed down.

The American Meteor Society AMS has received nearly 700 reports so far about the fireball event over Northeastern US. The fireball was seen primarily from Maine but witnesses from Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Ontario (Canada) and Québec (Canada) also reported the event.

With so much going on out here in the World there is a lot of information flowing purposely to distract us from the truth. There is a lot of real information being covered up by Governments around the World that will, and does have an effect in our lives.


The American Meteor Society notes that there has been a dramatic increase in fireball/meteor activity since the beginning of 2016. The rate increased exponentially since 2013.


Such a change is significant and should be generating a lot of media attention and considerable activity in the near space observation, so why all the silence?

It seems as a huge cover-up is going on right now and they will never release this type of information to the public due to economic conditions and social order.
