UFO/Meteor hits region of Recife in Brazil and turns night into day - Oct 18, 2014

On Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at approximately 10:20 p.m., witnesses saw a Unidentified Flying Object streaking through the sky.

When the object exploded, a massive flash lasted about five seconds with an impressive light show coming from the object before the flaming ball broke apart as it fell towards the ground.

The phenomenon in the sky of the Metropolitan Region of Recife and some cities of the state in Brazil left residents impressed.

Although the intense explosions of colors resemble an exploding electrical transformer, experts from the Astronomical Society of Recife (SAR), believe the high brightness was possible caused by a bolide, a large meteor that possibly came from a meteor shower in the constellation Orion. For Alto Observatory Sé, Olinda, the fireball can be formed by a meteor or space junk, according to the Mirror.
