HAARP was shut down in early May 2013, awaiting a change between contractors who operate the facility. According to HAARP program manager James Keeney, "Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is expected on site as a client to finish up some research in fall 2013 and winter 2014." The temporary shutdown was described as being due to "a contractor regime change." The Alaska Native corporation Ahtna, Incorporated is reportedly in talks to take over the facility administration contract from Marsh Creek, LLC.
The closure was first reported by the Amateur Radio Relay League on Monday. An article there quoted Dr. James Keeney, who now helps manage the HAARP project at Kirtland Air Force Base, as saying “Currently the site is abandoned. It comes down to money. We don’t have any.”
The shutdown is reported to be only a temporary one. Air Force officials are hopeful that the facility would open and resume operations the coming months. DARPA currently has a sizeable funding bloc allocated for additional ionospheric research in the fall of 2013, so it will likely have to be open for that research. So the notion that it is completely closed down is not quite correct, though it is certainly not operational at the moment.
The real facility is located in Poker Flats, North of Fairbanks, Alaska.

I am sorry but I do not believe that HAARP is shut down since May, if it has, it was done by the ET's. The government constantly lies about everything so why should anyone believe this to be true. Probably just telling people that to throw us off but at this point I do not trust any governments and I would need more evidence to such a notion. You don't mess with this Planet because Gaia is cleansing it. Greed is destroying this planet and it will be stopped because people around the World are awakening to the fact that we have been lied and dictated to for thousands of years.

ReplyDeleteI am Sure, they are monkeying around with weather control and such, even Induced earth quakes. How ever, there is no need for them to assist / cause global warming with this tech, as it would be happening with out their interference. I am Not talking co2 emissions and green house effect. I am talking the cycle our planet goes through like clock work. We are not the only planets experiencing warming trends in our systems. the sun has increased activity as well during these changes.

Our system weaves in and out of the outer edge of our galactic accretion disk, up and down through the thinnest densest part it weaves through, every 13-ish thousand years, in a roughly 26 thousand year complete cycle. this is times with the procession of the equinox btw. when we pass through the densest point of that flat plat of a disk, there is increased magnetism and gravitational tugging from other bodies, and more importantly from the galaxy center. This agitates our sun, and the cores of planets just a little. increasing solar activity, and increasing magma flow and tectonic activity on earth. Scientists are fully aware of this, but science from fields that include this knowledge is Not considered in global warming studies. With a limited study, they can keep people believing it is pollution. and make laws and such which gain more corporate power and money, going green for example, a trillion dollar industry world wide now. with the core being tugged, it is shifting and causing magnetic field of the earth to alter. The magnetic poles are shifting and moving away from their long term positions.
Any ways, there is Nothing that can be done about it. So, the powers that be make money and gain more power from it while they can. No point in telling us.
So you see, harp is not a main culprit there. Nor is pollution, though its possible they may contribute to a substantially lesser extent than they may be given credit for.
All these things I have brought to attention or written on science papers published in their own fields and an easy study.
We are going through growing pains, as is reflected in word events.
