Ancient Petroglyph engraved in rock photographed by Mars Rover Curiosity

Mars Rover Curiosity captured again an interesting artifact on Mars. The latest image shows what appears to be ancient petroglpyphs engraved in a rock.

Petroglyphs (also called rock engravings) are pictogram and logogram images created by removing part of a rock surface by incising, picking, carving, and abrading. Petroglyphs are sometimes easily defined based on the culture, religious beliefs, mythologies, and legends of an ancient civilization placed on rock formations for their descendants.

Many ancient petroglyphs are thought to represent some kind of ritual language often depicting with the same archetypal symbols.

The petroglyphs engraved in the rock on Mars looks like as human figures and it is interesting that the same symbols are found in different parts of the planet earth created in timelines where the people could not have possibly interacted with each other.

  1. Too much of a stretch. The Irish Cross is the only thing that has aroused my curiosity.

    2. Gentle beings awaken at their Own pace. One cannot skip rungs on the ladders journey to the surface to breath. Each at their own pace and ability to absorb and understand.
To Me Erik, You might be perceived as limited, for ridiculing Bill. Where as I will be seen as limited by others whom would let all learn with out influence or interference, or comment.
In the end. As it turns out, the world is Not flat as the majority once believed, but in fact, it is More then Merely Round as well.
All rivers lead to the ocean. All waters return to the source.
Wine is not wine if it is not given time to change and breath.

    3. Varakienen, take it easy on the drugs. Your comment is schizo. Try to be more coherent with your comments next time, not just trying to sound smart. Anyone can leave a sig, doesn't mean you're legit in any way.

It seems Your journey will take a little longer than most.
      Well, a Lot actually.

When you have some thing to actually contribute to the issue, then I am sure your comments may at last be seen as relevant?
