Rosetta Space Mission: The ambition to turn science fiction into science fact (Ambition the film)

The Rosetta space mission has lead to the making of 'Ambition' an intriguing and fascinating 6 minute film.

Comets are time capsules containing primitive material left over from the epoch when the Sun and its planets formed.

The Rosetta mission should become the key to unlocking the history and evolution of our Solar System.

Ambition is a collaboration between Platige Image and ESA. Directed by Tomek Bagiński and starring Aiden Gillen and Aisling Franciosi, Ambition was shot on location in Iceland, and screened on 24 October 2014 during the British Film Institute’s celebration of Sci-Fi: Days of Fear and Wonder, at the Southbank, London.
