Did a comet wipe out a highly advanced human civilisation in Antarctica,13,000 years ago?

According to Author Graham Hancock’s new book, Magicians of the Gods, (will be published in September) and a series of papers in geophysics and geological journals that have been bringing forward evidence that the Earth was indeed hit by a comet 13,000 years ago that wiped out a highly advanced civilization that existed in Antarctica 13,000 years ago.

The new theory is so compelling that it has wide opened the debate again about the mystery of the lost ‘Antarctic’ civilization.

The epicentre of the impact was on the North American ice cap but other large fragments of the same object also hit the Northern European ice cap, and impact evidence has also been found as far afield as the Middle East.

The impact did not only wiped out this advanced civilization but it caused a globally cataclysmic effects that brought on an epoch of devastating, cold, darkness and floods, that lasted for 1,300 years, known by geologists as the Younger Dryas.

Comet - Lost Civilization – Piri Reis Map:

The Pirelli Map is a genuine document drawn in 1513 by Piri Reis, a famous admiral of the Turkish fleet in the sixteenth century. A series of notes are copied data from a large number of source maps, some of which dated back to the fourth century BC or earlier are added on the map by the Turkish admiral.

The Piri Reis map shows the western coast of Africa, the eastern coast of South America, and the northern coast of Antarctica. The northern coastline of Antarctica is perfectly detailed, which would mean that Antarctica must have been free of ice thousands of years ago.

More accurate studies have proven, about the beginning of the ice-free period which has been put by different researchers everything between year 13000 and 9000 BC. And that the last period of ice-free condition in the Antarctic ended about 6000 years ago.

Although there are still doubts about the beginning of this ice-free period and researchers still wonder who mapped the Queen Maud Land of Antarctic 6000 years ago. Which unknown civilization had the technology or the need to do that?

I think it is more relevant rather than to ask ‘Who mapped the Queen Maud Land of Antarctic 6,000 years ago’ to ask ‘What if the Antarctic was already ice -free long time before 13,000 BC’?

Suppose they can proof the Antarctic was ice-free before 13,000 BC then it is possible that the ‘lost’ civilization, as described by Graham Hancock, has mapped the Queen Maud Land of Antarctic before they wiped out by the comet’s impact?

And if we put above text in context of the discoveries made by the Russian army officer  Eugene Gavrilov ( see our article: Russian army officer reveals Antarctic secrets) who claims that he has evidence of a nuclear explosion that occurred in the earlier days and traces of a lost civilization as well as there are pyramids between the mountains hidden under the snow and the theory that somewhere in the frozen continent or below the Antarctic ice there is a hidden portal-stargate that provides access to other dimensions than is it possible that this civilization got their knowledge from time travelers from another world?

Maybe it’s time to dig for the secrets beneath Antarctica, to find evidence what really happened with the ‘lost’ civilization and to discover what really lies under the huge Antarctic ice sheet.
