Another fireball sighting, this time the witness, while driving at the right moment on 183 Westbound in the Euless area, captured with his dashcam a close meteor flying over Texas on February 18, 2016.
The increase in fireballs is really disturbing as fireballs sightings are now reported almost daily throughout the world and with this new sighting over Texas, yet the report of the Fireball over southern France yesterday, one has to wonder what is really happening.
What is causing this phenomenon? Is a debris field moving in our direction?
Besides the exceptional increase in fireballs, March turns out to be the month of great celestial events in 2016.

Supermoon and Total Eclipse of the Sun:
The moon turns new on March 8 or 9, 2016, depending on your time zone, the so-called Supermoon will line up with the sun to create a larger-than-average effect on Earth’s oceans.
The first Supermoon of 2016 coincides with the first eclipse of the year, a total eclipse of the sun on March 8-9, 2016.
The total solar eclipse will be visible from Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and from locations in the Pacific ocean.
Supermoon coincides with Total Solar Eclipse and TX68 earth flyby.
Asteroid:
On March 8th a space rock is set to pass extremely close to our planet for comfort. Asteroid TX68 may skim past Earth's surface at just 19000 miles (30000 km).The asteroid is approximately twice as large as the Chelyabinsk meteor.

NASA confirms Asteroid's (TX68) Trajectory is 'Highly Uncertain'.
Astronomers say the asteroid 2013 TX68 may pass by Earth on March 8 at 00:06 UTC (March 7 at 7:06 pm ET), the time uncertainty is 2 days, which means the space rock may be passing by our planet sometime between the evenings of March 5 and 9.
Latest estimates say the asteroid will pass no closer than 19,000 miles (30,000 km). Even if it passes in this distance the flyby would still be even closer than orbiting communication satellites.
Meanwhile NASA has changed its condition from code 7 to Code 8 (highly uncertain).
Condition code is defined as, “orbit uncertainty estimate 0-9, with 0 being good, and 9 being highly uncertain”.
