Ball of Light caught by scientists may be evidence of Hessdalen’s UFO Phenomenon, Norway

Scientists from Høyskolen i Østfold have presented a sensational image of the so-called Hessdalen phenomenon to many of other international scientists during a geological congress at the European Geosciences Union in Vienna, last week.


The image taken by one of the team's many full automatic field cameras, which take images every five seconds, shows a glowing sphere which lights up the ground below.

This image stands out from the thousands of images that the research team has taken in Hessdalen and shows the ball of light in the center of the image which is photographed a hundred meters away and hovers apparently free at about thirty meters above the ground. Researcher at Østfold University College, Bjørn Gitle Hauge said “When the ball of light appeared on one of our computer screens in the tent, we ran out to see the phenomenon with our own eyes - but then it was already gone.”

“We have chosen this image, which was taken under controlled conditions, because it is a possible clue to what might be behind the Hessdalen phenomenon said Bjørn Gitle Hauge to NRK.

Over the years a large number of the mysterious light phenomenon has been published but now by presenting this particular photo of the luminous sphere captured by a scientific team, the Hessdalen phenomenon now has gained much attention among scientists world-wide.

“We hope to get more scientists interested in studying the HP or UAP phenomenon, which might lead us closer to understanding the driving forces behind it”, said Anna-Lena Kjøriksen from Høyskolen i Østfold. (Note: Scientists are not talking about UFO phenomenon, for research purposes they call it HP – Hesddalen Phenomenon or UAP – Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon.)
