Yeti Mystery: DNA analysis shows that the "Yeti" exists

Professor Sykes, an expert in human genetics at Oxford University has discovered the world’s first verified DNA evidence that the “yeti” exists.

Two hair samples taken from remote regions of Ladakh in the Himalayas have been found to show a 100 per cent genetic match to a prehistoric polar-bear-like creature that existed more than 40,000 years ago.

The extraordinary find suggests there are bears roaming the mountain range that have not been seen since the Pleistocene period, which experts say may well be “the biological foundation of the yeti legend”.

But the "Yeti" is not the only mystery in the Ladakh area. Ladakh is also the area of many mysterious UFO Sightings, a secret UFO base as well as suspicious objects coming out of the inaccessible huge mountains. In 2004 they filmed a humanoid-like figure that walked along the mountain ridge.
